Mixing
Balancing your vocals against the beat: levels, EQ, compression, space and effects so every part sits right together. You send separate vocal tracks plus the instrumental.
Mastering
The final polish on a finished stereo mix: overall tone, loudness and consistency so the song is ready to release. You send one finished stereo file.
Scope
What's included — and what needs a quote
- Songs up to 5 minutes
- Mixing: one premixed stereo instrumental plus up to 6 separate vocal tracks
- Mixing: separate, clearly labeled vocal WAV tracks
- Mastering: one finished stereo mix WAV
- 1 reasonable revision per song (EPs and albums: per song, not per project)
- Delivery: stereo WAV and MP3
- Single songs: 3–5 business days after we receive valid files (estimate, not a guarantee)
- EP, album and custom-quote turnaround confirmed by True Son Media before you pay
- Pay 100% upfront first; your private upload portal opens after payment is confirmed
- Saturdays and announced closure days are not counted

What to send after payment
For mixing
Clearly named WAV files that all start at the same point: the premixed instrumental, each vocal track, and an optional rough mix (MP3 is fine for the rough). You can bundle them in a ZIP — we store it as-is.
For mastering
One stereo WAV with no clipping. Tell us in your notes about any processing on your mix bus you want kept.
Up to 500 MB per file. Uploads are private and open only after payment is confirmed. See our Terms and Refund Policy.
